A chemical peel is a simple yet highly effective treatment that addresses multiple skin issues at once, including acne, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven texture and tone, and enlarged pores. Once applied, the chemicals break down the top layers of the epidermis, creating a controlled burn that causes the skin to shed and reveal brighter, even-toned, fresh skin. Many types of chemical peels exist; at Sabi Skin we use Perfect Derma Peel™, a medium-strength, medical-grade blend of acids that includes TCA, retinoic acid, kojic acid, glutathione, phenol, and vitamin C.
Additional boosters can be incorporated to increase the effectiveness of the peel depending on your skin assessment needs.

Your skin is gently cleansed and prepared for the peel.

Your provider applies the Perfect Derma Peel™ solution. You may feel some warmth and mild tingling.

Right after, your skin typically looks dark red, as if sunburnt, but you shouldn't feel any discomfort.

You leave with post-peel instructions and a Home Care Kit: step-by-step directions and the products you'll need to care for your skin.
Skin shedding varies and can last 5–14 days, typically starting on day 3 and tapering around day 6. Purging breakouts can occur while the skin heals. Avoid direct sunlight for two weeks after the treatment, so please schedule accordingly.
You're pregnant or breastfeeding, have a severe active infection, have had recent chemotherapy or radiation therapy, or are immunocompromised.
