Similar to traditional microneedling, Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling also uses micro-sized needles to create tiny controlled injuries on the skin surface however this treatment is more advanced as the device can then deliver radiofrequency waves below the skin surface. RF microneedling uses two pathways to treat the skin both form the top and bottom for a powerful multi-level skin rejuvenation. Redness, swelling and tightness, with possible pinpoint bleeding, scabbing, crusting and dry, rough skin for 5–7 days as the tiny channels heal. A sunburn-like feeling is normal. Symptoms and how long they last vary from person to person, and may be milder when advanced serums such as PDRN or exosomes are applied afterwards.
